Well you just made my day. :) I'm happy to hear you've been around for a little bit. :)

Yes, please stop using drugstore soap! lol. Glycerin is a wonderful moisturizer for your skin and it helps your skin retain its own natural moisture. Besides Glycerin soap, you can also try essential oil body sprays too.

~Shannon

Ok, will look for your post. I'm much more of a shower person, although I love to soak in bathtubs occasionally (when i can find time!). So I'll keep that in mind, I agree though, it might have something to do with the soaps I'm using. I have been using drugstore brands when I probably need to be using something like Cetaphil. Ah.. dry skin, the bane of my existence! Ps: I've actually been reading your blog since a few months ago! :)

I'm sorry you live so far away! :( I hate hearing about people suffering from dry skin.

To answer your question, our shea is: Shea, cocoa butter, beeswax, glycerin, vitamin e and essential oils. The Lotion Bar is: beeswax, vitamin e and essential oils.

Hmm. Have you tried soaking in the tub with bath oil beads made from pure safflower oil? Safflower Oil is fantastic for softening your skin and moisturizing. Also, what kind of soap are you using? If you haven't tried it yet, glycerin soap is the best. I wrote a whole post on it; it's somewhere in the archives.

~Shannon

Hi there, it's sisqa from the ebeautydaily.com post. Thank you for the free sample offer, I am tempted but seeing as I'm living in Australia, I think shipping might be expensive for you :). I've tried e-tailer's butter bar which has shea/cocoa butter and beeswax, and I'm afraid the skin on my legs is still flaky LOL. I assume your formulations would be the same too?
