Haute Tub Custom Blends is a sister brand to Urban Apothecary and they create custom blends. Each scent is created from emollient-rich pure plant oils blended with the fragrance of your choice. They also have delicious bath bombs, lotions, body washes and body scrubs. I have some of their wonderful Spa Fizz in my bathroom right now in fact.

dawn - July 3rd, 2008 at 5:42 pmWow Shannon– almost 500 entries and still a few more hours to go…
Thank you for the opportunity to help me spread the Haute Tub lather! I’m so addicted to good-for-you bath and body- no petro chemicals, SLS or parabens, and I started Haute Tub since I love the concept of being able to mix & match fragrances. That said, I’m becoming a bit of a fragrance aficionado. The choices keep expanding (gremlins come to mind) and I think we have somewhere around 275 individual perfume notes and another 200 blends—(is there a mathematician in the house), somewhere around 250 thousand different combinations—so there is truly something for everyone.
Three newbies this week:
La Pinque Pink
An adult’s version of pink, sugary cotton candy is what makes this fragrance downright, girlie fresh. In the shower, soap lathers into mahogany suds, evoking memories of circus ring festivities and a subtle note of sweetness. So enchanting and dreamy, this captivating scent is a fusion of sandalwood, vanilla and sweet heliotrope—that give way to the fruity undertones of a maraschino cherry.
Le Chocolat Biscotti
What do you get when you mix sweet cake flour, with toasted almond and drizzled chocolate? L’Almond Du Chocolat. While it could be a pastry craving, it’s really a recipe for fragrant edibility. It’s what makes this blend of scents so delectable in the body lotion, oil and body spray. Reminiscent of an almond biscotti, chocolaty notes will inspire you, and those in close proximity of you—to think about all things positive.
And my *personal* favorite (Shannon I’m sending you some– you have to smell this)!!
Pur Bliss
Yoga’s great for your muscles and mind, but your nose deserves a little nirvana of its own. When inhaled, this amazing fragrance emits an aura of joy. Uplifting notes of eucalyptus blend with stress relieving cherimoya apple, meyer lemon and cassis to capture the aroma of freshness. A gust of wind carries anise, cinnamon, and ginger in water droplets. While notes of musk and vanilla fuse an unforgettable fragrance. Exquisitely relaxing and yet so uplifting, it keeps the body smelling divine.
Good Luck everyone… Have a WoNdErFuL – safe and happy 4th of July!

Jodi - July 4th, 2008 at 2:15 amMy Manhattan railroad flat has a non-glamorous shower in the kitchen. To compensate, I wash in the most luxurious soaps, gels, and lotions I can find, toweling off in the biggest, fluffiest bathsheet ever made.
I will not be defeated by utilitarian design.
