I think I have died and gone to heaven. When I heard fellow Twitterer, Kelley of PRIIA Mineral Cosmetics, saying how much she loved Bella Lucce’s Cranberry Fig Sugar Scrub, I took notice. It had a lot to live up to as Kelley said the sample she received with an order she placed was so beloved that it prompted her to order a full sized product. I’ve never used any products with cranberry in them before, so I was excited to give this scrub a try. And oh.my.goodness. It is divine.
When I opened the jar and breathed in this delightful aroma, I immediately called my oldest son over and said, “Tell me what this smells like to you.” As he put his nose above the jar a big smile came to his face as he said, “Christmas.” As a child I grew up in Rhode Island and every Christmas was spent visiting Edaville Railroad for it’s Festival of Lights. On our way there we would pass Flax Pond Farms, one of the many cranberry bog farms in Massachusetts. So it is the scent of this sugar scrub that drums up so many wonderful childhood memories for me and in an instant can make me think of happier times.
Bella Lucce’s Cranberry Fig Sugar Scrub is a mix of organic shea butter, pure cane sugar, natural oils and cranberry seeds. It is a vigorous scrub and did such a great job revealing healthy skin on my arms and legs. I happened to be out of facial scrub, so I took a small dollop and gently exfoliated my face, paying careful attention not to get too close to my eyes. My hands are also dry, so gently massaging my hands with this scrub softened them right up.
Your skin will be smooth and supple and be blessed with the light fragrance of cranberry and fig. You’ll definitely feel the urge to grab a warm blanket, a good book and cozy up by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa after this.
Cranberry Fig Sugar Scrub is available at www.BellaLucce.com for $25.50 and is limited edition–so scoop it up before it’s gone!
