Here in the northeast Mother Nature has let us know that winter is in full force (and making me desperately wish for spring.) These winter months are when skin is at its driest and seems to have an insatiable quench for hydration. There is nothing worse than when your lips crack and dry out (no amount of lipstick or gloss can cover that honey!) I am pretty particular about how I take care of that, no Chapstick or Blistex here folks. My lip care regimen typically involves beeswax or soy to keep my smile looking amazing so that when the newest Lipglass from MAC comes my way, I don’t have to hesitate to put it on. So my latest find is from Cactus & Ivy’s Soy Milk Lip Balm and it has been a lifesaver so far this winter.
When their website says it is the smoothest and creamiest lip balm, I wholeheartedly agree. It’s almost as if it melts to the touch of my lips and has the smooth and silky feeling of that perfect lip gloss. My lip balm didn’t have any taste or smell, which is also great for when using it on my boys because they don’t want to feel girly (and rightly so!)
So whether you want to be preventative this winter or you lips are in need of some rescue (not a bail out), the Soy Milk Lip Balm is really a great choice. See what else Cacuts & Ivy has to offer at www.cactusandivy.com

You cannot get enough of a good lip balm these days of dry heat, now can you. Hope you are staying warm!

Broke Bettie - January 16th, 2009 at 8:05 pmI’m obsessed with lip balms. I’m always up to looking and trying new balms to moisturize my lips. The one thing I hate the most is dry, chapped lips. Very unattractive.
Diana - January 17th, 2009 at 6:18 pmI like lip balms too. Dry, chapped lips are gross and unnecessary!
