Review: Ojon Tawaka Ancient Tribal Rejuvenating Cream

ojon_tawaka_ancient_rejuvenating_creamI’m an insanely huge fan of Ojon products. I love the scent of them, I love the ingredients and I just love how well they work on my hair and body. The Ancient Tribal Rejuvenating Cream is only the second product from the Tawaka line that I have reviewed, the first being Tawaka “The Ball.”

Ojon’s Tawaka Ancient Tribal Rejuvenating Cream has that same nutty fragrance that I adore. The Rejuvenating Cream is meant to be a multi-tasker as a moisturizer for your face, body and to help repair hair. The cream is very thick, and since I have combination skin, I don’t think it would work well on my face. Obviously I cannot say that with certainty since I didn’t try it, but from experience with thick creams I know this to be true for me. I did use it as a body moisturizer and those rough elbows and knees melted like butter into soft, touchable skin. All traces of dry Northeast PA skin vanished.

If you have really dry skin, this will work wonders on your skin. It is a little on the pricey side at $65 for a 6.10oz. jar, but as with all Ojon products–it is totally worth it. You can find it at www.Sephora.com.

    Hi Shannon,

I’ve tried one of Ojon’s products before. My friend has the hair conditioner and let me sample it. I love the way it smells – and it does leave my hair real soft!

  2. I cannot get enough of Ojon….everything they come out with is a winner. The whole concept and execution is pure genius.

I love Ojon products, they feel great, smell awesome and feel good using them. I did not know about this product though and living in California with our dessert weather it is something I can use not only on myself but on my clients too. It is kind of hard applying makeup on dry patchy skin and i have plenty of actors coming in with just that. La Mer is a bit to pricey to use on anyone so i will give a try to the Ojon product you reccomend. Thanks a bunch, I love beauty blogs for that.

I hate the fact that the ingredients are changed and parfum is the third ingredient…yuck! I am so sad this happened.

I’d love to try this but I certainly can’t afford it! I also have combo skin so I don’t think my face could handle it!

i am with you on the thick creams- they break me out like nothing else.
