Review: Exuviance Rejuvenating Treatment Masque

exuviance_rejuvenating_treatment_masqueI am a huge fan of facial masques. As I get older (I hate to admit 35 will be here before I know it), the kind of masques I lean towards are changing a bit. Stress shows more easily, wrinkles become more prominent and my skin’s firmness is slowly waning.  I can’t believe I just said all of that out loud. It’s like admitting that I am not young as I used to be…and neither is my skin. Which is why using Exuviance’s Rejuvenating Treatment Masque is perfect for me–it’s targeted for aging skin (even when you don’t want to accept this fact.)

The texture and application of this masque reminds me of Freeman’s Cucumber Mask from my youth–you know the one that is a gel that you smooth over your skin and then once it has dried (about 15 minutes), you peel it off…like you would sunburned skin (which I find a little addicting.) Except what makes Exuviance’s masque different is that it has a AHA/PHA blend (alpha and poly hydroxy acid) that dually exfoliates your skin and stimulates cell renewal.

I have combination skin, but the Rejuvenating Treatment Masque is also good for normal skin. You only need to use it once per week, but it really refreshes the overall look of your skin.

You can find it at www.neostrata.com for $26. It is also part of Beautyfix’s Kit #2 this quarter. If you don’t have a membership to Beautyfix, it is totally worth the money!

  1. I’m 31 and I always frequent the beach. I think I ought to use a product like this. Is there an age limit as to when one can start using this product?

  2. I love facial masks too! I do about two per week because it keeps my skin clear… that product sounds great. Do you think it would irritate sensitive skin?

  3. Yay, I actually own this product! I love this mask and I use it more often than once a week, but my skin is dripping in oil during summer days. I never manage to peel it off (no patience) but after washing it away my skin feels smoother, more calm and also my pores look a tiny bit smaller. A huge plus!
