Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay Resort & Spa debuted their 16,500 square foot state-of-the-art spa back in April and it sure sounds amazing! Signature features including chromotherapy, aromatherapy and water reflexology paths distinguish the spa. The free-standing, full service spa reflects the theme of water and flows with soothing sounds of waterfalls and fountains. I don’t know about you, but I feel like I am in paradise when I look at this picture of the pool at the spa.
The spa’s unique element of chromotherapy, sometimes referred to as color therapy, is specifically designed to maximize the use of color and light to balance one’s energy levels. Chromotherapy will be provided in the mens and womens steam rooms. Guests will feel enveloped in a tropical cocoon enhancing their spa experience.
The Spa Emerald Bay will join the select number of North American spas to boast water reflexology paths. Emerald Bay’s water reflexology paths will stimulate points on the foot, based on reflexology beliefs. The integration of water into the paths enhances the calming effects to the body.
Aromatherapy will also set the tone of Spa Emerald Bay. Lavender scents will welcome guests in the lobby and citrus will refresh the wet areas. Even the fitness center will receive attention from aromatherapy.
The spa boutique will feature the exclusive Natura Bisse products and luxurious Mexican products. Completing the soon-to-be most modern spa in all of Mazatlan, a full-service beauty salon will offer hair and nail services.

what is a chromotherapy? and I must rave about Natura Bisse Hand Silk Cream. I have never used a had cream before but this one beyond amazing. It has SPF 15, very light scent and it is not greasy but is very waterproof! i love that i can wash my hands and not worry to re-apply this hand cream. After all it is about 30 dollars.

Suzy - August 21st, 2009 at 1:18 pmThe setting looks gorgeous,
the treatments—divine,
but lavender’s just not
a favorite of mine.
So, I’d leave the lobby

I’d love it…you bet!
Chromotherapy is is specifically designed to maximize the use of color and light to balance one’s energy levels. Sounds iffy to me!
