Pictures from Cosmoprof North America 2009

As you know, at the end of July I had the privilege of speaking at Cosmoprof North America. It was my very first time going to Las Vegas and I was excited as a kid on Christmas! I arrived a few days before my scheduled speaking date, which by the way, I think went quite awesome; I spoke about social media for Private Label (many thanks to Private Label Magazine for that!) I met so many amazing people that it makes my head spin. The only person that I met that I didn’t get a picture with was Robyn Bloom, founder of Purely Cosmetics. I enjoyed our relentless quest in search of steak at 12am Robyn!

Here are some pictures from my time in Vegas–enjoy!

Jack and Tracey from Sozio, Lianne, Kit, Michael and myself waiting to go into minus 5, a very awesome ice bar in the Mandalay Bay hotel. I will neither confirm nor deny the group of us shouting the lyrics to “What’s Going On” by 4 Non-Blondes at any point during that evening.

  3. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride, LOL. BTW, wouldn’t it figure that I found GREAT steaks two nights later at Mon Ami Gabi (Paris Hotel) that weren’t $150 each?

  4. Shannon says:

LOL Robyn!!! Seriously who pays that kind of money for beef?! Are the cows the key to the fountain of youth!?

  5. Looks like you had an absolutely fabulous time! And I loved seeing the pictures. It’s fun to live vicariously through others who are able to enjoy such glamorous events. Glad your presentation went well. Good for you!

Getting to finally meet with some of you face-to-face was pretty surreal. Such a fun group of enthusiastic individuals!

Shannon’s presentation on social media for Private Label was phenomenal. She was both articulate and provided great insights on the role of twitter, fb, and blogging. One thing that really struck me is that Shannon writes the way she really is, authentic, smart and beautiful too!

Many thanks for the mention here Shannon. Many hugs!

  7. Shannon says:

Mary–living vicariously through me can be dangerous for your health! LOL. Or at least your wallet. ;)
