Bliss Vanilla + Bergamot Shower Gel

bliss-vanilla-bergamot

As you know, summer can wreak havoc on your skin. In and out of the pool and lots of showering can cause dryness, not to mention the harsh rays of the sun. I’ve been using Bliss vanilla and bergamot bath + shower gel all summer long. I was first attracted to the heavenly sweet smell of the shower gel. Frequent dips in the pool allow me to indulge in sometimes two or more showers a day and I love how my skin smells and feels very soft after wards. The scent is sweet and a bit smokey and not too overpowering. A scented mix of amber, lemon, bergamot, myrrh, musk, and vanilla. My daily routine involves the bath + shower gel, exfoliating in the shower with the buffing scrub followed by the body butter.

The body buff scrub has super-softening shea butter, sweet almond scrub paste even tiny bits of skin-smoothing vanilla bean. The body butter and leaves your skin smooth and not greasy. The scent is delicate but seems to last all day. During the summer months I sometimes find it too warm to wear perfume, so the scent of the vanilla and bergamot is perfect, and the scent is just right for summer. I only wish that Bliss would make a shampoo or styling treatment with the same scent!

  1. bliss products are the bomb diggety! have you tried the naked body butter? it doesn’t have a scent so that you can wear your perfume without being overpowering! love it!

  3. not a big fan of vanilla but bergamot sounds really refreshing during hot summer days or for a wakeup shower in the morning… I hope this product is more bergamot than vanilla

  4. I absolutely love Bliss products. The body buff would be great to use on my legs, where I tend to get ingrown hairs.

  5. Summer, though I love it,
    treats my body cruel:
it dries it out and roughs it up.
It sounds like BLISS could be
    the perfect tool‚
to take my poor old body
and bring it “back to ‘cool’!”

  6. This sounds so yummy, I’m afraid I would be tempted to taste it! I have never tried Bliss before – such a sheltered life.
