I don't know about you, but I don't have time to deal with unwanted blemishes. There's about a million other things that require my attention these days. Additionally, as a mom of 6 boys, my older boys are beginning to experience acne of all kinds themselves (puberty is funny that way.) They turn to me for guidance on the best way to not only prevent pimples and whiteheads from taking over, but the best products for zit removal. When it comes to my sons, well, they're teenagers and I think that's all that needs to be said! So finding zit removal solutions that are easy to integrate into a skin care routine and can quickly treat a problem zit, are key. I'll be honest, they aren't very consistent with washing their faces (which boys are???), but the gel saved them every time. I also really loved how quickly it worked for me - no joke that a zit would pop up and by the next day it would be gone after applying this spot treatment. The Pore Treatment Gel is amazing with its aloe base and I found it to be a fantastic makeup primer for my nose and chin. The best part? It was treating those blackheads with Salicylic Acid at the same time. The Acne Wash is a non-drying, clear gel with a clean scent. It comes out thick and then thins evenly as you smooth it out over your face, so you only need to use a small amount. Let me say that 3 people used this product for 2 months (so far) and the tube still has a lot of product left in it! The Pore Clearing Scrub contains wax microbeads to gently exfoliate in addition to 2% Salicylic Acid. The scrub is aqua colored and the menthol will invigorate your skin. It was gentle enough that I could use it daily. Recently we had to travel out of state for a family event and ZAPZYT products found their way into our toiletry bag. Teen skin issues are in full force in my house. Thankfully my sons have taken an interest in caring for their skin and always come to me with questions about how to clear up blemishes, moisturize and cleanse their skin, and for my oldest, asked my husband to show him how to shave. Whether you are a teenager or an adult battling blemishes, a spot treatment is a must-have to keep on hand. GR8SKN from Teenceuticals is a new skin care line targeted to teens and those in their 20's, and let's face it, teen skin and adult skin do differ in how it combats and recovers from acne. (Not to mention male skin from female skin, but that's a whole other article.) GR8SKN products are paraben-free, sulfate-free and cruelty free. Gavin is the one who tends to breakout the most, so he was all for testing out GR8SKN's Clear Exfoliating Spot Treatment and Toner. Clear uses an airless pump and recyclable packaging. You can't really control how much product you pump out though, but we were able to get around this by barely pressing down on the pump so that a small amount of product would come out. This spot treatment had an herbal fragrance, which Gavin said he didn't mind. The texture is thin and silky without being greasy and quickly absorbed into his skin. Ingredients for this acne spot treatment are Mandelic Acid (from almonds), willow bark, Irish moss, chamomile, geranium, rosemary and lavender oil. It didn't dry out Gavin's skin like most teen acne treatments do and seemed to be effective in calming the inflammation of his blemishes. With it being the only blemish spot treatment in the house, I've taken to using it as well. (I really wish I could've left pimples back in my 20's.) Has your teen tried it?
